Movie Time Cinemas update was successful no issues reported.

Showbox update with the lime player working on all units.  Please refer to the installation guide if you are having any issues.

1.  From the Binge Box TV Home screen (ASTVB) click on settings (fire) top right.
2.  Click on apps, click on Showbox (if there), click uninstall and ok.  (APP SHOULD NOT BE SHOWING)
3.  Click on apps again and select Lime player (if there)  click uninstall and ok.  (APP SHOULD NOT BE SHOWING)
4.  Click on apps look for showbox and lime player, make sure they are not showing.
5.  Unplug your unit for 10 seconds and plug back in.  Go to Binge Box TV Home Screen (ASTVB)
6.  Left click on Lime Player, let it download, Click on install
7.  VERY IMPORTANT - click on OPEN when done installing, once open it will ask for access......... click ALLOW, right click back to Home Screen (ASTVB) after lime player opens. 
8.  Click on Binge Watch (Showbox) and let it download.  Click on install.  Click on open
9.  Try to play a movie, if the movie plays and does not ask for lime player your all set.  If it asks for lime player to be installed, repeat steps 1-9.  If it still does it after the second try email support and let them know but include a phone number in the email so technicians can call you.   Email support hours are Mon-Sat 10am to 10pm EST.  Live phone support available Mon to Fri 10am to 4pm.

Support Update for 06/22/2019  BingeWatch (Showbox) below, Movie Time Cinema app is updating and will be unavailable till the new update is finished.

Showbox latest update, install instructions.
Looks like Showbox did there update 06/19/2019 and we have had time to find some issues, but for the most part, seems to work well.  Below we will cover the proper installation procedure to fix the units whos BingeWatch (Showbox) was properly installed with the Lime player last time (Option 1). have been down/not working (Option 2).   And for those of you that are hitting "Remind Me Later" For the Update (Option 3).  For those who tried to install the older version of Showbox and gets the message, Showbox has quit working (option4)
Option 1:  Showbox is working on my unit with the Lime Player:  Update as normal, click update now, let it download and click on install.  Ready to go.
Option 2.  Showbox is down and not working:  Follow the step by step instructions below
Option 3:  Showbox is working but I click on Remind me later so I don't use Lime Player:  I would continue to hit remind me later until next week after we get feedback of no issues for the below fixes,
Option 4:  You had issues with Lime Player/Showbox update and tried to install the older version and you get the message "Show Box has quit working:  follow the step by step instructions below.
Any Issue not covered above with problems related to Showbox/lime player:  Follow the step by step instructions below.
If you have a NON-Binge Box TV Unit (NBEETV, FTVFL, SOLTV, Grekos unit) make sure your spring cleaning (Instructions under FAQ section of the website) Has been completed or this will not work for you.  Binge Box TV Unit owners need do nothing with spring clean.
Please READ AND FOLLOW the below steps and do them in the order as stated.  Skipping a step will not work and you WILL have to start over.
1.  From the Binge Box TV Home screen (ASTVB) click on settings (fire) top right.
2.  Click on apps, click on Showbox (if there), click uninstall and ok.  (APP SHOULD NOT BE SHOWING)
3.  Click on apps again and select Lime player (if there)  click uninstall and ok.  (APP SHOULD NOT BE SHOWING)

TV Tap added 06/20/2019  Installation Instructions.  Please note this app will install and work with all Binge Box TV Units.  Others (NBEETV, FTVFL, SOLTV and Grekos units, may not install correctly or operate properly with your unit)

1.  From your Binge Box TV home screen (ASTVB)  left click on TV Tap (located on the bottom row of apps) and let it download.

2.  Left click on install

3.  Left click on open

Proper Settings for TV Tap

1.  Left click on menu bar (top left)

2.  Left click on settings

3.  Left click on Select Player:  Left click MX player

4.  Left click on Player View:  Select Full Player

5.  Left click on Channel Listing:  Select list or grid (grid is my choice)

6.  Left click on Home screen:  Select either ALL or Favorites (I set it to ALL at first  so I could save all my favorites.  Once I had all my Favorites selected I went back to settings and changed the Home Screen to favorites so that just my favorites appear)

7.  Exit app for changes to take effect.

That's all the settings you need to work with.

Here is a quick tutorial on using the TV Tap application:

To play a network: Left click on network, choose source if asked, select play.  (choosing source is only on some networks, mostly it will automatically play)

To switch channels (network) just right click and select a diffrent network.

Ads:  If you get an ad, wait to see the X than right click to disappear ad.

Saving Favorites:  Click the heart in the right corner of Network.

Category Select:  Left click on menu bar top left.  Select entertainment, movies, news, sports...etc for break down.  (schedule will be coming soon)

While Show Box has an update we recommend to select REMIND ME LATER while they work on their programming to include the MX Players and others.  We will notify you via email when a proper working version is available for update.

If you have already updated please follow the instructions below.

Binge Watch (ShowBox)  had an update on 06/07/2019.  This update wants you to use their new player Lime Player.  After you update ShowBox and than go to watch a movie or TV Show it will ask you to download the Lime Player.  If you have a Google Play Store account on your unit it will take you to the Lime Player for you to download and install and that is all you need to do.  If you do not have a Google Play Store (if it ask for user name and password or asks you to sign up) please follow the below instructions.

OPTION #1

1.  From the Binge Box TV Home screen (ASTVB) on the bottom bar next to TVZion you will see the Lime Player Lime Icon, Left Click on Icon.

2.  It will download automatically.

3.  Left click on install

4.  Left click on DONE do not click open.

That's all you have to do, Lime Player Successfully installed on your unit.  We will leave the Lime Player on the bottom bar for 2 weeks to give everyone a chance to Down Load and Install without signing up for the Google Play Store.

****************If you installed the Update to Show Box and installed Lime player and Show box continues to ask for you to install the lime player please do the following.

#Option 2  This method uninstalls the new update and allows you to use and install the previous version of Show Box.  Just click REMIND ME LATER when it asks you to update.

Start from fresh you will need to uninstall ShowBox and Lime Player.  Unplug your unit and plug back in.  Go to the your Binge Box TV Home screen (ASTVB)  Left click  Showbox and let it download, left click on install, than open.  When you see the update or remind me later, click on remind me later.   Show Box is working on their update to include the MX Player.  You will be notified via Email when Showbox has an acceptable update.

Program Removal and re-install:   Here are the steps to do so.

1.  go to settings

2.  click on apps

3.  find the app you wish to uninstall and click on it (showbox, lime player)

4.  click on uninstall

5.  unplug your unit and wait 10 seconds, Plug back in and let it boot back up.

6.  click on the program (you uninstalled) on your Binge Box TV (ASTVB) home screen and let it download (showbox only not lime player)

7.  follow the on screen instruction for the re install

8.  When Showbox asks for permission to update select REMIND ME LATER.

Latest Update 06/04/2019 please unplug your unit and plug back in for update to take effect.  Also, Cyberflix 3.1.7 update not working properly from the Cyberflix site, please follow the steps below to fix.

CyberFlix update issue....While doing the update 3.1.7 it will download and install but when you exit the app and re-enter Cyberflix it will ask you to update again.  Cyberflix changed servers for their application, so please follow the instructions below to install properly.

Uninstall and re-install

1.  Go to Settings

2.  Left click on apps

3.  You should see 2 Cyberflix

4.  Left click on any Cyberflix app and left click on uninstall, after the first Cyberflix is uninstalled, Left click on the 2nd Cyberflix and Left click on uninstall.  Make sure all Cyberflix are gone.  (if there is only one Cyberflix still uninstall the one)

5.  When done uninstalling both Cyberflix unplug your unit and plug back in.

6.  From the ASTVB (StreamOn) home screen left click on Cyberflix and let it download.

7.  Left Click on Install

8.  Left click on open

9.  Left click ALLOW

10. Left click on MX Player

11. Left click OK

12. Left click MX Player

13. Left click accept

That's it Cyberflix is installed properly.

05/25/2019 - Latest Update, Please unplug your unit and plug back in for your Updates to take effect.  

We will be sending out new applications for your enjoyment beginning June 1, 2019.  Also we will send out your install instructions via email, and they will also appear in the FAQ on the website.

The next series of apps will not work on all NON Binge Box TV Units (NBEETV, FTVFL, SOLTV or Grekos units), Binge Box TV Units will accept the new apps with no issues.

Additional Live TV App Added - Red Box TV

We have added a new app Red Box TV.  Binge Box Unit owners will have no issues installing or using this application, Just follow the install Instructions below.

NBEETV, FTVFL, SOLTV, and Grekos unit owners.  This app may not install properly on your device, or may not respond properly on your device.  Follow the install directions below also. If you have a unit other than a Binge Box TV unit and you have issues with this app please email support@bingeboxtv.com.  No live support calls will be accepted for non Binge Box TV Units on the installation, settings or use of this app.

Red Box TV brings you streams from around the world but the emphasis is in there sports category.  Like other Live TV apps, if you are getting a bad stream, just right click out of the network and left click back into the network, this will switch the stream source you are receiving.

Installing the Live TV App:

  1. Left click on the Red Box TV App Icon located on the bottom row of your home screen next to the Blokada App.
  2. The app will automatically download
  3. Left click on INSTALL bottom right corner (Install Anyway if pop up during installation)
  4. Left click on open.  That's it your all done installing the app.  Now go to Proper Settings

Proper Settings for Red Box Tv App.

  1. From the Red Box TV App Home Screen, Left click on the three lines top left of the screen.
  2. Left Click on settings
  3. Lock settings should be set to OFF
  4. Left click on Favorite Tab and choose what tab you want showing first.  (I use the sports tab on one unit and USA on my other unit)
  5. Left click on Video player and select MX Player.
  6. Right click one time and you will be back to the apps home screen

 

 

05/07/19  Launch date is set and we are ready to move forward getting Version 6 out to all unit owners.  Launch will begin................................................................

Launch windows will begin 03:30 am Eastern Time and continuing throughout the day.  Binge Box Unit owners will not suffer any downtown.  All other unit owners may experience down times up to 7 days while we patch the bridge between our programming and non Binge Box TV units.  

If your are multi unit household, Binge Box TV unit and Other unit, your Binge Box Unit has already communicated the necessary patch info to your non Binge Box TV Unit.  Just remember to set up email and pin last on the non Binge Box TV Unit.

We have broken down the install instructions as follows:

Binge Box TV Unit owners and Binge Box TV Unit owners with additional Non Binge Box TV unit or units.  Complete the below steps on your Binge Box Unit First than on your other units last.  Must do on all units.

  1. When you enter the ASTVB (StreamON) application it will have a red bar downloading update.
  2. When prompted click on Install.
  3. When prompted click on open.
  4. When prompted left click on the email tab and enter your email.  (you must have access to this email. The program will send you a 4 digit pin.)
  5. Enter your 4 digit pin in the space provided.
  6. Your V6 will open.

Non Binge Box Unit Owners:  while we have Bridged a lot of the units already there may be a delay in receiving your pin code (up to 7 days)  please use your registered email address.  If you did not do your spring cleaning or have not registered a email on the website the update will be stuck on the enter pin screen.

  1. When you enter the ASTVB (StreamON) application it will have a red bar downloading update.
  2. When prompted click on Install.
  3. When prompted click on open.
  4. When prompted left click on the email tab and enter your email.  (you must have access to this email. The program will send you a 4 digit pin.)
  5. Enter your 4 digit pin in the space provided.
  6. Your V6 will open.

If your stuck on the ""enter pin" screen please email support@bingeboxtv.com no phone calls to customer support will be accepted.  Email support only so we can trace the problem through you ip address.

 

 

05/05/19  Voice and picture problems with Binge Watch (showbox)

Customer Support Update on Binge Watch (Showbox)  Reported issue that the Voice and Picture does not match up.  This is app specific and usually means they are updating their server for the next update to their app.

Try your show in Binge Watch (Showbox) and if it is not working try to watch the show in Cyberflix or Movie Time Cinema.  This is the easiest solution so you don't loose your favorites in Showbox by trying a re installation.  When Showbox updates there app it should solve this issue.

Version 6 Final Download to be sent in approximately 10 days.

We are at the finish line with getting the Version 6 of ASTVB (StreamOn) out to all units.  We will be letting everyone know the exact date of the release in a future email, so please check your email spam and junk folders to insure you are receiving our emails.

On the release of Version 6, Binge Box TV Unit owners will not suffer any down time.  Just follow the V6 Install guide.

We will also have the V6 Install Guide posted at the top of the FAQ Section of the website.

VERSION 6 INSTALL;

  1. When you enter the ASTVB (StreamON) application it will have a red bar downloading update.

04/25/2019  04:41 pm first half of Version 6 update completed.  If you own a Binge Box Unit all you need to do is click on your (ASTVB) Stream On app icon and it should load properly.  NBEETV, FTVFL, SOLTV and grekos unit owners need to unplug there units and plug back in.  If your unit is stuck on the User Agreement page please unplug and plug your unit back in.

Check Your Unit Settings to Accept Future Updates
Binge Box TV Unit Owners DO NOT Need to Do

 

As we send the next few updates to your units this week and next, you need to make sure your unit settings are properly set if you own a NBEETV, SOLTV, FTVFL or Greko Unit.  Binge Box TV Unit Owners do not need to perform this task.

  1. From the Binge Box TV Home screen click on unit settings.
  2. Click on location.
  3. Click on mode and select “Device Only”.
  4. Right click 2 times to return to settings list
  5. Left click on Security
  6. Scroll to “Unknown Sources” make sure it is set to on.
  7. Right click 1 time to return to settings list.
  8. Left click on “Accessibility”
  9. Scroll down to “Auto-rotate screen” make sure is off
  10. Right click 2 times to Binge Box TV Home Screen and that is all.

 

 

Update News on Version 6  04/12/2019

In approximately 30 days we will be rolling out Version 6 of the Stream On (ASTVB) application.

We sent the last Hard Update for Version 6 to your units on April 10, 2019.  100% of Binge Box TV units accepted the update with no issues.

NBeeTV, FTVFL, SOLTV and Grekos unit owners need to perform the spring cleaning on your units to make sure there is room for Version 6.  As of 04/11/2019 35% of the Hard Updates bounced back for these units. Please make sure you complete the spring cleaning prior to April 20, 2019 as this is when we will resend the update.

Version 6 is looking good and operating smoothly.  We are still working out the bugs with the Live TV Network Guide and the retro game sections.

You will be receiving a lot of soft updates behind the scenes from now until the Launch of Version 6.  You need do nothing, just operate your unit as normal.

We will be sending out a checklist for you to make sure all your settings are proper  7 days before releasing Version 6.

  3. find the app you wish to uninstall and click on it

Target apps for removal: (Live TV, RD Sports, Solid Streams, Terrarium TV, YES Player, TV GUIDE, News On)  Optional apps if you do not use: Netflix, Hulu, Sling

  1. click on uninstall…...repeat for all apps to remove from above list.
  2. unplug your unit and wait 10 seconds, Plug back in and let it boot back up.

04/05/2019 Latest Update - please unplug your unit and plug back in and your update will automatically be there when you open the Stream On (ASTVB) application.

While we have no control over the advertisements in the 3rd party applications you use with the Binge Box TV, we are always looking for ways to reduce the number of ads, content of the ads and resolve issues that ads may be causing.

We have added “BLOKADA” to our app lineup in order to assist you in limiting the number of ads that come up.

The biggest culprit of late has been Binge Watch (Showbox).  Ads prevent us from watching movie trailers, adult ads, ads if you take too long to hit watch now or if you're just browsing.  Make sure you install BLOKADA as this will resolve most of the above mentioned issues. But in no way expect it to remove all ads.  Happy Streaming!

BLOKADA INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. From the Binge Box TV Home Screen left click on the BLOKADA icon located on the bottom row of apps.
  2. It will automatically download
  3. Left click on Install
  4. Left click on Done.

ALSO Make Sure the below has been done also:

 Binge Watch (Showbox) has been showing A LOT of adult content ads.  Follow the steps below to remove the adult advertising from Showbox.

  1.  Make sure you have installed the latest Showbox Update.  (Click on Binge Watch (Showbox) and if it asks you to update select Update Now, if it does not ask you probably already done this)
  2.  Click on Binge Watch.
  3.  Click on the menu bar in the top left corner and a box will appear with movies, TV shows etc
  4.  Click on the Settings tab that's located right below New Releases.
  5.  Put a check mark in the third box from the top.  (Don't Show Me Adult Ads)
  6.  Click on default player and select VLC
  7.  Right Click once out of Binge Watch
  8.  Left Click back in and you're good to go.

 

 

 

Latest Update:  03/22/2019 -  Please unplug your unit and plug back in to receive your Update.  Live Net TV had an update and changed servers.  Please click on the Live TV and Live Sports (LiveNetTV)  and you will see it downloading.  After it is finished downloading click on Install.  When it is done installing click on Open and let it load up.  After it loads it will ask you to delete the previous version of LiveNetTV, click ok, than it will ask to Delete, Click Ok.  Thats it.  Any problems please call customer support and we will assist you.

News Update:  02/22/19  - Customer Support Update on Binge Watch (Showbox)  Reported issue that the watch now button is not activating when you are trying to watch TV Shows.  While this seems to be a app error with Showbox and their next update will correct this error you can try the following.

Solution 1.  Try your show in Binge Watch (Showbox) and if it is not working try to watch the show in Cyberflix or Movie Time Cinema.  This is the easiest solution so you don't loose your favorites in Showbox.  When Showbox updates there app it should solve this issue.

Solution 2.  Do a complete re-install.  Doing this will loose all your favorites that you have saved in Showbox.  You can follow the steps below if you choose to do this or call customer support (888) 419-9666 ext 1 and we will walk you through the process.

1.  Left click on unit settings from the Stream ON home screen.

2.  Left click on apps.

3.  All your apps will be visible and in alphabetical order.  Scroll down to Showbox and left click on it.  The next popup you want to left click on uninstall.  Click on YES uninstall.  When it says app uninstalled unplug your unit from the power.

4.  Power your unit back up and go to the Stream On Home screen and left click one time on your binge watch icon.

5.  You will see downloading in the middle of the screen and when done a screen will pop up.  You want to left click on Install (bottom right corner).

6.  You will see Showbox installing.  When it is finished the next screen will say Done or Open.  Left click on done.  Now use your Unit as normal.

Whats New - 02/13/2019 Added BeeTV to your bottom bar apps.  This is a new on demand movie and tv show application.

How?  Left click on BEETV Icon and let the app download to your unit.  When it is finished downloading left click on install.  When the installation is complete click on open and enjoy.

Most issues can automatically be repaired simply by unplugging your unit for 10 seconds and plugging back in and let your unit reboot.

Buffering issues.  It is highly recommended to have your unit direct connected to the internet.  If this is not possible use your wireless connection no further than 20 feet from the router.  Another option would be to purchase a power line adapter kit from amazon (35.28). https://www.amazon.com/Tenda-A...

Making sure you receive your HARD Updates.

Updates are constantly going to your unit (soft updates) in the background while your using your unit.  Hard Updates (program changes, additions and deletions) only take effect after unplugging your unit and rebooting.  To make sure you receive your Hard Updates we recommend you to unplug your unit and Plug it back in at least once per week.  We generally push hard updates Sunday evening, so Monday mornings would be Ideal.

Don't worry you will never miss an Update.  Lets say you have not rebooted your unit in the last 3 months.  As soon as you do any Hard updates made in the last 3 month will automatically come to your unit.

Cache Cleaner App - NEW

Stream On App (Binge Box TV Home-screen) has added a cache cleaner in the bottom bar apps of your home-screen.  This new feature eliminates starting and stopping, freezing and jittering while streaming .

1.  Click on the Cache Cleaner Icon (trash can)  it will calculate the cache and display some files and programs.

2.  In the top right corner you will see a trash symbol, left click on it to clear your units cache.

3.  when done right click once to go back to your home-screen

 

Weekly or () Maintenance for trouble free viewing.

Your internet router needs to be reset depending on how much you use your unit.  Heavy users once per week.  Moderate users twice per month.  Light users once per month.

1.  Unplug your internet router and your Smart TV Box.

2.  Plug your internet router back in and wait 5 minutes for it to completely boot back up.

3.  Plug your Smart TV Box back in and let it completely boot up

4.  Happy Streaming.

Binge Watch (Show Box)  Video starting stopping, freezing.

This app is adding additional servers and most tv shows and movies are automatically defaulting to server B.  To stop the issues you need to switch what your watching to server A.  This is what you need to do.
1.  Select the show you want to watch.
2. Click on the 3 dots in the right corner of the watch now screen.
3. Click on server B and a drop down menu will appear
4. Click on server A
5. Click Close
6. Click Watch Now

Program Removal and re-install:  sometimes it becomes necessary to uninstall and reinstall a program to get rid of cookies and hidden files.  Here are the steps to do so.

1.  go to setting

2.  click on apps

3.  find the app you wish to uninstall and click on it

4.  click on uninstall

5.  unplug your unit and wait 10 seconds, Plug back in and let it boot back up.

6.  click on the program (you uninstalled) on your home screen and let it download
